We had the pleasure of producing and mixing King Hannah’s captivating cover of Madonna’s “Like a Prayer.” The band’s vision was to let the song breathe, infusing it with space and sparse instrumentation that gradually builds in intensity. With a delicate arrangement of pulsing synths and scratchy guitars, Hannah’s mesmerizing voice takes centre stage, drawing listeners in. In the extended version, the track evolves into a thrilling instrumental section, fueled by thrashing drums and distorted guitars, showcasing King Hannah’s unique interpretation and artistry. They aimed to honour an iconic artist like Madonna while infusing the track with their distinct King Hannah touch, seamlessly blending two worlds into a masterful musical experience.
